My client does not have Outlook...but wants to export her folders from Outlook Express to back them up....
By exporting messages...it seems to want to have outlook installed, because it only seems to work by directly exporting into Outlook..(I tried this on a different machine that Had outlook)
Any other ideas?

Click File -> Export -> Messages... and it should guide you though the rest... This is in Outlook Express 5...
Once the data is in OutLook, I'm pretty sure you have more options in exporting the data. If you go into the folder you want to export, then goto File -> Import & Export... then click Export to File... you can export it as all kinds of things... this is in Outlook 2000 anyway...
Not sure if this is what you are after or not...
Andrew.
