Splash Screen on start up.

I am installing Win 98 SE on my wifes computer.  This is an upgrade from Win 98.  She has Win 98 Plus on the computer too.  After I'm done the Win Plus splash screen will not appear on strat up.  How do I get this back on the system.  I did this with my computer when I upgraded mine but I don't remember how I did it.  I know it's on the Plus CD.

Thank You

Jeff

You havt to replace the logo file in the C: drive root. If you aren't sure how to do this then the easiest way is to reinstall the Plus program

Ok so I go to the C drive, windows, systems and look for the logo right?  Then put my CD in for Plus and find the splash screen right?  And then replace it right?

Yeah that would do it, when you installed the SE it just replaced the one you had with it's own

Make sure you get the correct one: there are several Logo files, the one you want is just "logo"
Logo = the splash screen at bootup
logow = the "windows is shutting down"
logos = the "it is safe to shut down"

Forgot to mention but the last two (logow & logos) should be in the Windoze folder
