"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

When you went through the 'Mail and Fax' applet in the Control Panel did you see the following services listed?

 - Personal Folders
 - Outlook Address Book [optional]

If yes, the go to the Mail Delivery tab and verify that mail delivery is set to Personal Folders.  (even though you are just going to use it for calendaring/tasks.

If no, then you will need to create a profile with.

 - Personal Folders
 - Outlook Address Book [optional]

and verify the settings under the Mail Delivery tab.

Good Luck...

When I go to "mail and fax" and try to add personal folders I get a window that says "Create/Open Personal Folders file" It is looking for a .pst file. I did a find for any .pst files and couldn't find any. What do I do now?

The same dialog will create a new file if you don't have one.  Just pick a directory where you want the new file stored and give it a name like mailbox.pst. ;)
