mci control and displaying playing time

I am looking for a control that can display the time that  is played from a wav file, starting from 00:00 till the end of it,
just like in the CD player of windows.
I wonder if there is such control, and if not ,I would like to get any idea how
to built it.

thank you very much.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use the MediaPlayer control to do this.  See http://www.experts-exchange.com/jsp/qShow.jsp?ta=visualbasic&qid=10238703
It is an example playing an mp3 file, but you can also use it to play a wav.

Cheers!

Here is the online documentation from microsoft:

   http://msdn.microsoft.com/isapi/msdnlib.idc?theURL=/library/psdk/wm_media/wmpsdk/mmp_sdk/default.htm

Make sure you click "Show TOC" at the top of the page so you can see the full table of contents along the left side of the webbrowser...

Hoping for a good grade ;-)
