I have a Chips & Technologies PC TV video card... and I need the driver! I have looked everywhere. Intel now owns C&T, but not supporting this OLD ('92)card. Have looked at Intel,WinDrivers,DriverGuide,TechZone,etc... help!

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No, the links there just send me to Intel, who now owns Chips & Technologies and are not supporting anything below the 65xxx chipsets. The one I need is F82C9001(possibly just 82C9001) chipset.I've been all over the above sites, plus a few little obscure ones, in my quest.  This is a hard one, and my understanding is there are 3 disks that came w/this card.
 Thanks, though!

Upping the ante to 300.. the +300 still stands for the driver. When I get it on my HDD, I pay up!

The number you gave (82c9001) is apparently a windowing controller and not an actual chipset.  I found a driver LINK, but it's a dead link.  You may want to try it later, and find out if that is the correct chipset identifier - you may be looking for the wrong thing.
anyway - here's the dead link

The # was on the chipset... here at my elbow...
The link you sent was working.. I think you may be onto something here. This is the 1st mention on any site of the C&T 82C9001 chip. I have no documentation or anything for this card.. my understanding is that it works with an existing video card, but can't be too sure. As far as I can tell (and I'm assuming) is the card needs a driver and some other s/w, but I believe the software package that came w/the card had drivers in package (all rolled into one).
I removed the card from a client's computer who was going to throw the card away.. it's a TV card, circa 1992 (remember the 1900's?)and I thought.."hey.."
Will explore from the link you gave.. don't give up looking! I can use all the help I can get!
Also, give me time to investigate.. I won't forget about this thread..
L8r- and thanks..

just to let you know that I believe I have found the drivers, thanks to you. If you will, give me time to put computer back together and try it. If you would like, you can submit your above comment as answer to remove it from the active questions list. It will probably be tomorrow (Sat, 2/5) before anything known here. Thanks for your patience.

tengage, thank you very much. Not only did I get the drivers, but your comment of looking for the wrong thing also convinced me to look at other #'s on the card, helping me to find suitable s/w for the card, as well as some possible contacts for documentation for said card. Thank you very much-
upping to 600 for finding drivers (per above post(s)).
