MAPI C++ Source Code (to create an Address Book Provider)

I am in urgent need of some source code that can be found on the CD that comes with the book "Inside MAPI". This book is out of print now.

I am attempting to (and would like code that relevant to) write an Address Book Provider.

ANY help will be appreciated.

By the way, I do know of the C sample in MSDN. It is far to difficult for me, not only because it's c, but it is COM in C, and that presents too many difficulties.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry mate,

I've done this already, that's why I am asking for source code from people who already have the book or similar code. It is not currently possible to buy this book. I didn't want to know who has references to the books...

Take a look at these examples :

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/developr/mapi/samples/mfcapps

All of these examples are in C++ .(Look at the mfcapps.txt file.)

These example were part of MAPI 1.0 SDK, but were removed when it started to be packaged in WIN32 SDK.

The link doesn't work for me any more too. Seems, ftp.microsoft.com is temporarily out of commission. I would check it in a day or so.

Well, I now have the book I was searching for - "Inside MAPI", so the code is not so important to me, anymore.

I will accept your answer, all the same...
