Question about Sybase licence...

Hi,

I tried to call Sybase today (everybody in meeting) and I checked their site,
but I didn't find the answer to my question..
Which is: I want to deploy Sybase on an NT webserver. My webapp logs into the database with one login (Applogin) and my endusers on the web can manipulate their data...
What licence do I need for this? And how much does it cost? It has to be sybase ASE 11.9.2 minimal or the latest ASA

Thanks for your help.

Sybase has a license that is used just for such purposes.  It costs about $7,000US to license Web based access for a sybase database regardless of the number of concurrent connections.  Whether you are using a per seat, on concurrent licence model.

I think the cost is approximately 600 uk pounds per named seat. You can purchase concurrent user licenses (cost more) which govern the number of active connections at any time, instead of potential users.
