In your httpd.conf you should have a line that says:

AddHandler cgi-script .cgi

Add a .exe to this line like this:

AddHandler cgi-script .cgi .exe

If this line is preceded with a # (commented-out), uncomment it by removing the #.

Thanks, Ducky!  Although I waited since Feb 4 for this answer, it was right on and my Fortran CGI .exe script now runs under Apache/W98 just like it does under NT/ISS(?) at our ISP.  Full marks to Ducky.  rmh 2/28/00
