Converting BMP To JPEG

I am programming in Windows API that is Windows SDK through which I created a BMP and saves it to the hard disk with .bmp extension or rather say that I have made my own paintbrush. I want to change this .bmp file into JPEG so that it becomes file of JPEG format through any Windows API function or through any other utility (third party or file-conversion or whatever). Please let me know this and please tell me the site(s) on which I can get this utility or information about this. It's more better if you the Windows Programming Function (API) for that.

if you want third party graphic software to do the conversion, just get capture professional v 3.0, there is a demo version available.  or even easier, use windows imaging software available in any windows operating system.

Sorry, but I do not fully understand your question. If it is that you want to convert a graphic file from bmp to jpeg Irfanview, a freeware program will do this conversion.
