How to make a layer on top od the others...

I want to know if there is a way to make a layer appear in front of another?

In my case it's a floating layer that appears as a right-click menu anywhere the user right-clicks in the window

i think u can use z-index of inline style of the <layer> tag, but i don't know it was supported in Nutscape or not ...

The one z-index who have bigger z-index will be on top of the one who have smaller z-index
(negative value permitted in IE)

<layer style = "z-index : 3"...>layer 1</layer>
<layer style = "z-index : 1"...>layer 2</layer>
<layer style = "z-index : 2"...>layer 3</layer>

then, from top to bottom, the sequence is layer 1 -> layer 3 -> layer 2

Please reply me if this method works or not
