Deleting IE4 Temp Files
When I try to delete temp. internet files by options/delete files, it removed cached web pages, but left cookies. I have deleted all the cookies from cookie file with out a problem. But in temp. internet file still has hundreds that wont delete. If you try select all and hit delete, get "warning this is cookie do you want to delete" for each one, then it still doesn't want to delete them

Ok, here is where the dir should be but since I don't know what ver of IE you have I am not sure it will work on your computer, try going to your internet options in IE, click on settings (next to delete files) the dir is listed there (should be c:\windows\temporary internet files)
Now go to msdos and you should be put into this dir: c:\windows> now type cd tempor~1 (a weird thing is on the machine I am on now the dos prompt in windows (stuff running can't shutdown) will not show any files in that dir, restarting in msdos mode should show you those files)
Now go to msdos and you should be put into this dir: c:\windows> now type cd tempor~1 (a weird thing is on the machine I am on now the dos prompt in windows (stuff running can't shutdown) will not show any files in that dir, restarting in msdos mode should show you those files)

go to start -> shutdown -> restart in msdos mode -> go to the temp internet files dir and type del *.*
that should delete them without any problem.
