I need a good source to learn prgramming in VB

I have written some ASP scripts but otherwise am new to programming.
I have looked at a number o books. Most of them concentrate on the microsft Vbasic programs and not on writing the code itself.
Any suggestions of good places to start?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you want to buy a programming book alot of these sites have reviewed some VB books and give there opinions on them. Also you could try looking the book up on an online bookstore, For example i Know www.amazon.com and www.amazon.co.uk have reviews/customer comments/authors comments/Table of contents.

At the end of the day though the book that suits you best is down to individual preferences and Learning abilities

Hope this has been of some help

Cheers
