NT 4 and USB

I'm wondering if anyone has found USB drivers for NT4. The conventional wisdom
is that it does not exist, but

http://www.ionetworks.com/index.html

makes and sells USB hubs for NT4. Of course their drivers only work with their product.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I've been waiting to upgrade from 98 to NT because I could not find support for my new USB printer...  Windows 2000 Professional supports USB - and will be available next week!

Following is an excerpt from http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/winnt/ntwrkstn/technote/nt4mobl.asp

Emerging Hardware Support. While third-parties are beginning to offer support for new hardware technologies, such as the Universal Serial Bus (USB), only Windows 98 natively supports these capabilities. Windows NT Workstation 5.0 will provide native support for USB.

Right, what is the 3'rd party software? Inside out Networks has a pproduct if you buy their hub, but I already
have the USB ports.

WHere is there a 3'rd party dirver for it (ASUS,
the board maker does not have one either).

Sadly, the links pointed to by Qubiac are dead, there are no pages for the NT4 USB product. But it was a good try.

You're right, they're page was down
for over two days (which sort of gives
one pause as to the quality of their code. In addition - I see that makers of USB hardware will have to modify their code to work with this one companie's USB stack - which likely means that not too many vendors will support it.)

In any case, thanks for your time
