Believe me, things won't go the way u want to.

I tried on a Pentium 100 and had to revert to 95 in just another. Everything seems to crawl like a snail.

Assume that you have copied off all valuable data from your computer.

Obtain DOS 5.0 to DOS 6.22   Get a bootup disk for the DOS system, one that is formatted to start computer and has the format utility on it.

Boot the computer on the bootup disk.
Format the hard drive - format c: /s  is the command to use.

Install the DOS using the installation program on the DOS disks.
Install the Windows.

Note.  All stuff on your old disk will be destroyed by this installation.
Note.  You need the DOS setup disks and the Windows setup disks before proceeding.

Depending on how you installed Windows 98 there may be a deinstall option available to you somewhere.

Any queries post them here.  This was brief and rushed.
