"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Try this.
SiSoft Sandra, it gives you not just the chipset, but almost everything. Check it out at <http://www.sisoftware.demon.co.uk/sandra>
Moreover, you can check the BIOS string and then findout what the motherboard you have, then check the website of your motherboard's company for more info. To find out the company's name from BIOS string, try <http://www.motherboards.org>
