Displaying Data using Picture box

Is there a way of displaying data without using a datagrid? I am referring to the Outlook style! How can you display data, in the form of a grid, but e.g on a picture box control with neat grid lines?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can put object Line and Label on picture box . Set their index to 0 and now You can do Loop in program that does Load lbl(l) and Load ln(l)
set their Top , Left and Visible properties and so on...

Have you thought about using the listview control. You can set a picture as the background to the listview and set whether the listview shows/hides column headers and grid lines.

There are a number of different modes you can use this control in. You should have a read of the windows help if you want to know how to use it properly.

To add it to your project.

Go to the Project Menu>>Components>>and select Microsift Winodws Common Controls 6.0 SP3

Maximka, how will you connect the label and object line to data? Can you use ADO? What will the code look like?

Thanks in advance

I am trying to make the ListView look like a datagrid to display information from database.
The GUI looks professional!
