you helped me a little while ago with that nice setup.bat file.... well I have got another problem/ question

what I want to it make a complete HTML code based program that resides locally on the pc I need to make a setup program that would install all of the files and the images to the hard drive in a specified local folder that also makes a shortcut to this program I would like to be able to use I.E. and/or netscape to work with this program and have it so that all of the hyperlinks point back to the hard drive any ideas how I can accomplish this ? I am using FP98 and I have visual Basic 5.0 learning edition

these files would have to go onto a cd.... could you show me that batch file again?????.. also this is including images etc.....

basically i want to install a local web to my pc and other friends of mine pc's if I zip all of the HTML documents by going into the frontpage98 directory of frontpage/webs/myweb and then select all files zipping them putting them on the cd along with the batch file that should install and be able to unzip ?

considering it is not just on diskettes anymore is there a way I could do this through V.B. ? with an install shield wizard etc...
Actually, if all you're doing is zipping up local web pages, and not distributing a program, take a look at WinZip's Self-Extractor version 2.1.

http://www.winzip.com/other.htm

It allows you to create zip files for software installation, and it's free shareware.  I use it all the time. It's great!  You can also get it to run programs after the unzip...

By the way, that batch file is here: https://www.experts-exchange.com/jsp/qShow.jsp?ta=visualbasic&qid=10262896

Cheers!

sorry I am still looking into it...... I will get back to you in a week or so I have allot of questions to catch up on here but have not been able to as of yet cause i answered too many of them... I will follow up with you if you do not hear back from me in a week then post a comment on this question
Brian, You still there?
i am going to go ahead and give you the points although i have been too busy to try what u last posted i want to but my priorities are a mess right now
Glad you graded it before the "AutoGrader" graded it... I Just got a bunch of autograded questions.  I don't know if you know it or not, but when the "AutoGrader" runs, it grades the question as if you accepted the answer as a "C"...

Thanks again!
