CD rewritable for G3

Hi,
I am a photographer and I need a CD rewritable for a blue and white G3. I would need one that could fit in the harddrive and be fast.
Any recommendations and where to get the best deal?

If youre not familiar with www.deal-mac.com i would recommend becoming so. They update the latest deals every day with everything from floppy disks to G4s.

I did a search for "cdrw" and found several deals...http://dealmac.com/search.html?search=cdrw&pub=1 ......Pick the one thats best for you.

Oh yes forgot to mention...ALL CDRW drives will fit in one of the two top media bays of your G3. Its just a matter of picking the interface. ATA or SCSI. If you have a SCSI card by all means get the SCSI CDRW but if not you dont have a choice and will have to settle for the ATA.

Thanks!
I have a SCSI card in the back of the G3 -is that better than ATA?
Is it easy to install them?

Yes SCSI is better than ATA. ATA uses processor time to write information where scsi has its own built in controller. Also scsi is traditionally faster. Its a piece of cake to install. Just slide it into a bay, make sure the SCSI ID is unique on your setup, attach the power and scsi cable, and restart. The manual should tell you about setting the SCSI ID.
