Using NMSMTP component
I have aproblem with using this component because I start with small project and I dragged this component in my form:
1-Tmemo.
2-OK button .
3- TNMSMTP .
Iam testing this project in our network which connect with INTERNET. the progrm
raised this exception"hostlook up time out" .also
what is number of PORT porperty is it the number of our server or the default
conculation:-
All Iwant is to send mail to another pc in the same Network.

it is ok now,but i recieve 'Email Sent' when i execute it without errors but when i check it No New Msg :-)

are you meaning the code i post or the chat program ?
i tried the code and seemed ok,are you sending through mail server?
for the chat demo do you know you have to run the client on one pc(to listen and display message) and server on another pc to send message.

I mean your code and i am sending through mail server .

is the use of this compnent(NMMSTP)give me the ability to send mail from any
not my own e-mail without knwoing the
password of it,i think this is not more secure(remember all you want is to
determine the (TO Address property).

all i have to do is specify in the host:
mail.myserver.net
and it works fine..
(i try using ip adress and fails so i need name of server as far as im aware)
about the password bit ,its a bit strange how it doesnt seem to require one.
if the component keeps failing perhaps try another from torrys web site etc..

still an Exception is Raised and the Msg is: 'Host Look Up Failed'
what do u think i miss configure in my setting?
