Virtually every printer that didn't have a menu selection I have ever worked on is hold down the line feed button and turn on the power to print a test page. Or try the form feed and turn on power.

Turn the printer off.  While holding down the FONT button turn on the printer.  It'll first print on the 1st and last line of the first sheet of paper.  On every page after that it prints characters in each font.  The self test will run until it runs out of paper or until you press Pause.  To start the test again press the Pause button again.  The end the self test press the Pause button to stop it from printing, then press the Load/Eject button to eject the paper.  Turn off the printer.

Hope this helps.
