Does anyone know of a program that will step through a directory of files, open each of them and replace certian text?

This is a Windows95/98/NT command line program.  Unzip this file, then open a command prompt (DOS prompt) and run the program with no parameters, and it will give you a help screen.  Let me know if you need more details.

Yes, that is always a good thing to mention.  chgstr.exe (above) is also free.
