Unintentional Manual Feed on HP 2100 TN
We're using HP 2100 TN with a jetdirect card on a LAN of about 10 users. 95 workstations, Novell 4.11 server.
Prints fine with Word and other office programs. However, a vendor's VB app with no print settings (uses PC's default), always prints to the manual feed tray. Cannot get this program to print to the default letter tray.
Have tried changing printer settings in Windows. Where else can I look?
Please help.

The only printer settings you can change is in the Printer itself VIA start, settings, printers right clicking on the printer then selecting properties and going to the tab where the papersoruce is listed from what you have posted you have already done this is there is no print properties option in the application Via file, print and then a printer window comes up and selecting properties there and selecting paper source then there is nothing you can do the app is overidding your printers settings and you will have to talk to the people that made the app for them to update the application so that it does give you the printers properties windows or some way of modifying the application so that it prints to the automatic tray

Is there any method to change the settings in HP's jetadmin? It seems that it may be reading from the manual feed as a multipurpose tray.
We have to press the reset button sometimes to print docs.
Thanks.
