I listen to CDs on my PowerMac, using the AppleCD Audio Player and headphones, but I'd like to be able to boost the bass etc.
Is there a graphic equaliser plug-in or equivalent program? Or any kind of software to improve my listening experience?
Thanks
Chris

There arent many free applications to do it. There are certainly lots of shareware apps to do it though. Audion for example from http://www.panic.com/ppack/download.html provides MP3, AIFF and Audio CD support with a set of graphic equalizers. Sound Jam will also do it but is a but more expensive. Its available from http://www.soundjam.com/ and also provides MP3 encoding support. In any case both of those utilities will provide graphic equalizers. Demos of both are available.

I did my search for utilities on www.versiontracker.com which you could check to make sure i didnt miss anything.
