Winsock Error Help

I am trying to run my VB program on a remote server via the internet. AFter the third time i execute my program, i get this error:

'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

i have already uploaded MSWINSCK.OCX into the corretc directory of the server (NT) and also the modules in my project that uses winsock within my program, still i am getting the erro msg returned.

ANy ideas? thanx.

You say you uploaded the file to the server, but have you registered it on the system? I'd suggest you try manuakky registering it using RegSvr32.exe first and then try your application. If you are not able to register it, you might want to take a look at the support DLL's needed for Winsock. I'm afraid I don't know offhand which they mightbe, but you should be able to get that from the M$ website's knowledge base.
