When using a MCI device the notify flag can be set to notify the application when the device has finished executing the specified command.

How do I add a handler to process this message ?

Do I have to add a message map handler to my dialog class. If so how do I that ?

Regards

Hi:
In your MCI_PLAY_PARMS structure, fill in dwCallback field as following:

mciPlay.dwCallback = MAKELONG(hNotifyWnd, 0);

where hNotifyWnd is a handle of your window to notify

in your "window to notify" message map place message handler as usual

ON_MESSAGE(MM_MCINOTIFY, OnMusicDone)

Don't hesitate to ask if something is not clear.
