The Escrow Agent has been retired.  R5 does not support it.  Instead they have developed a 'Password Recovery' feature.  Hang on and I'll post a link with details.

Hmm - yes, it is a long link -- and it truncated.

So ...
1.  Start here:
http://doc.notes.net/domino_notes/5.0.2/help5_admin.nsf

2.  Click on Search (top of left window pane)

3.  Enter criteria: password recovery
Leave the "Search For" field set to: this exact phrase

4.  click [Go] button

5.  Click on first "hit" to the query: Setting up ID and Password Recovery.

Yes R5 use Password recovery to replace the function of escow agent.
What kind of mail-in database should be used to store the ID? R5Mail template ok?

Yup - a database using the R5Mail template should do just fine!  The important requirement is that you create a "mail-in database" record in the public directory (under the view "server\mail-in databases and resources").
