Hi there,
I have to port an application using raw Berkley TCP/IP sockets to the Mac.
Environment: C++, CWP5, MacOS 9
I don't have the time to rewrite everything with OpenTransport. I'd be really glad if you could give me a hint/link where to find a C/C++ lib with a Berkley-like interface.
Thanx a lot to all reading & answering!

Then you want the GUSI ("Grand Unified Socket Interface") BSD socket emulation package by Matthias "MacPerl" Neeracher. Online manual at

http://www.iis.ee.ethz.ch/~neeri/macintosh/gusiman/GUSI.html

software repository at

ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch//software/platform/macos/src/HTML/Welcome.html

The latest I believe is 2.04, archive at

ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch//software/platform/macos/src/mw_c/GUSI_204.sit.bin

Enjoy.
