I want a larger hard disc for my HP 6350.  How large a hard drive can I put in this particular box?

When you boot the computer you will see some information at the top of the screen (BIOS type, date etc...) Please post the date. (some say more than one, post the newist.

For the HP Pavilion PC Model 6350, which uses an SiS 5598 chipset on the motherboard, you should be able to use any sized hard drive that is PIO, DMA or Ultra DMA/33 compatible.

If there were problems with a very large hard drive, HP has a BIOS update at:
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hppavilion6505_swen.html
This update could possibly correct any problems.
