odbc

Here's what I keep getting.
The ODBC Resource.dll (c:\windows\system\ODBCINT.dll) is different than the setup dll (c:\ODBCCP32.dll)
you need to re-install the ODBC components to ensure proper operation.
click ok to proceed  cancel to abort.
I click ok and we move on but I keep getting the message.
How do I re-install these components and where do I get them from?

oldgreyguy:

nice handle...thanks..assume it worked..asked for update twice while I updated and afterwards I went into my computer and it didn't fire up so here's wishing.

Know anything about sound?
New system...soundblaster platinum...everything seems in place but no sound. it shows that it's playing the cd the controls are pulsing but no sound....no a one....not even a window sound when you change screens etc...nothing open to day so no one to ask.

glad to have helped with the odbc

as per ther sound:

1/ are the speakers plugged into the right jack, i think on the new soundblaster products, its the green connector

2/ go to the control panel, multimedia, make sure something isn't muted
