Hi,
I want to burn some audio cds for my car stereo.
I have some great realaudio tracks but need to convert them to .aif format for the burner to recognise them.
Is there a program that does this?
Can it be done?

It cant be done. RA uses a proprietary format that isnt supported by anything other than the realaudio player so converting it is impossible. Yeah i know, major drag but thats how it goes i guess. The method that i found works as a crude hack is to buy a stereo patch cable from radio shack. Connect the audio out port on yer comp to the audio in port on yer comp with the cable. Hit play in real audio and hit record in a sound recording app. Make sure playthrough is off so you dont get feedback. Check www.versiontracker.com for a program called Coaster..It will let you record from the audio in port.
