Thanks for helping fishinopa astaec. The problem with Live!Ware 3.0 (Q10300171) is over.  This was the kind of help I was hoping for.

Thank you FishinOpa (love that name!!) for posting these points for me.  It's not as though I can go buy a loaf of bread with them; but it sure does feel quite good to know that my work is appreciated.  People is what it's all about for me.  You're kind and I thank you.

Are all things now OK?  Did the follow up stuff help further or is there still a remaining void or question?

Feel free to post a follow up here or on the other Q if you still don't find the programs that should have installed properly (from prior Q).

BTW ... You mentioned that your wife was called OMA, as was my Mom to my daughter.  We converted Oma to Omi since it was a more affectionate term or variation (according to Mutti - affectionate term for Mutter).

It's 2:38 on the Pacific coast, yet my answer posted at 1:38, so I suspect we're in different time zones; you may be in the Midwest.

Thanks again. Job well done.  Alabama is in Central Daylight Time.  I know you can't buy a loaf of bread with the points.  But it's the only way I can show my appreciation for your help.  My computer is working real good.  The sound from my SB Live could not be any better.  I may not have Live!Ware, but I don't care right now.  I'm going to keep what I have.

My other daughter stationed in Arizona, mountain Time just married a young army man whose family came over from Chekoslavakia when he was 9.  His family lives in California, Pacific Time.  So I have to keep up with all the time zones.
