have you set up an odbc connection through NT or win95 whatever you are using.  Goto the control panel and make sure that odbc connection is established then it should work in cf

Hi Deepchanda,
How do I verifie my datasource ?
It is on my computer for sure.
I get this answer when I try to run my coldfusion program(.cfm)
the exact error is:
Error Diagnostic Information

 ODBC Error Code = ()

Unsupported ODBC data source TIBIBLIO1 for ColdFusion Express. The data source may not exist or no driver is specified for
 the data source.
Thank you for your help

Nothing ever in the clear!

This technical paper will help you implement VMware’s VM encryption as well as implement Veeam encryption which together will achieve the nothing ever in the clear goal. If a bad guy steals VMs, backups or traffic they get nothing.

You should have "microsoft access driver" in the ODBC drivers drop down list which allows you to add access datasources on a access mdb file. Also every datasource been defined from the CF admin page is based on the system ODBC in the control panel on your server computer. make sure that you have the ODBC drivers for access database

the CF admin page where you can verify the ODBC datasource is located at http://yourserveraddress/cfide/administrator/index.cfm, and you click on ODBC link from the left panel. ONce you have a datasource created on that page, CF will try to verify that DS for you. Also you can goto your system control panel, ODBC, system DSN and create that datasource. Let me know if you need more help on this

Following are the steps to create a datasource for access from the system control panel:

1. Goto system --> control panel --> ODBC

2. while on the ODBC panel, select "system DSN"

3. Click on "Add", which gives you a list of all the database drivers available on your computer.

4. Select the one for Access database and click on "finish"

5. Enter a name for the datasource, and select the mdb file

6. Thats all , you have the datsource created for you.

This would also show up from the CF admin pages
