Old HP Scanjet Plus Interface Problems

I have an old HP Scanjet Plus with a Centronics Interface Board.  With a new PC, I no longer have an ISA slot for the interface board.  Can a Standard PCI parallel port (LPT2) work with this scanner?  The scanner still works well, is long in the tooth, but accomplishes the tasks that I use it for.

George,

In a word, no. The card you mentioned is a propriatary board made specifically for the ScanJet Plus and provides the unique interface which the ScanJet Plus requires. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
