Maximum length of network cables?

I am installing a small network with potentially 8 stations using some older Macs ranging from a variety of PowerPCs to a 640 Performa and  a Centris.  I am using 10base-T cable and an 8-port hub.  Is there a maximum of cable length, either total for the system or for a single cable?

The maximum length for twisted pair is 100 meters from a computer to a Hub...That makes your max distance between computers about 600 feet and 300 feet from computer to hub.
