PB 6.5 was released June 1998.
The 6.51 Maintenance release is May 17, 1999.
6.51 Build 1137 (The Y2K EBF) was released December, 1999.
6.51 Build 1163 was released February, 2000.
Hope this helps.

hantime23,

Thanks for the answer. I have following doubts.

1. Is PB 6.5 EBF build 1163 same as PB 6.5.1 build 1163?
2. Are the PB 6.5bulid nos above 1000 released after the release of PB 6.5.1 maintenance release? ie can we assume PB 6.5 build 1000 = PB6.5.1?
3. From where can I find that when the Maintanance release and build versions of PB were released?

1. Yes, 6.5 build 1163 and 6.51 build 1163 are the same.

2. Yes, since the original 6.51 maintenance release was build 612, anything after build 612 is 6.51. It is generally recommended to have 6.51 maintenance release installed before installing any later builds.

3. Well, most of the patches to upgrade to later builds have readme.txt files included, that say the date of the release of that build. You can get some (but not all) of the builds at support.sybase.com. This website has the most recent 'official' releases of the builds. For the others, you can go to the ftp site at psaftp.sybase.com.

Hope this helps.
