reading and sending email in HTML

i have msoffice pro and i want to send and receive email as a web page

but it keeps saying word cannot run web authoring tool while another word program is running.

i have tried to use HTML.DOT  as an template

What version of msoffice? 97? 2000?  In outlook look under tools, options, mail format and under message format choose html.

do not have a mail format tab in my option menu

Microsoft Outlook 97 does not have the capability to compose or receive HTML-format mail. Any HTML-format messages will show the web page as an attachment.
