Thank you, Nothingforfree (great name, and that's for sure!!).  Glad that my Viagart link and other comments proved helpful.  When you said "Many thanks astaec, and centerv and ciberdiver too.

I've arranged that split as suggested.
Just out of interest, where does the link you displayed come from? The page as YOU see it???" ......

I'm not sure whether this was directed at me or not.  If so, the link I posted that addressed the Viagart was as a result of searches and finally found that link in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.  If, though, you meant the question to the Q as I showed it, that was a cut/paste after navigating through your questions from my address bar.

If more would help, please let me know.

This gal's off to take apart her Power Supply (scared but ready).

Best wishes,

Asta

I "meant the question to the Q as I showed it, that was a cut/paste after navigating through your questions from my address bar", (bad cut and paste grammar but you get the gist).

thanks again.

Thanks a bunch; the pwr supply piece was interesting having not taken one apart before.  Now to get the system back up and running.

Fun?  Indeed!

The grade is appreciated.
