In Outlook Express 5.01, when I open an email from the folder view screen, it always opens to a window about 4 x 5" in the middle of the screen.  If I wish to maximize the screen, I must hit the maximize button.   How do I set OE 5 to ALWAYS open an email to a MAXIMIZED window?

You can't do that.

The best you can do is open an e-mail and stretch the window as big as you can (in order to 'simulate' maximizing). Afterwards, every e-mail you'll open will be in a window of that size. Outlook Express does not 'remember' the maximized state of a window.
