Download programs

Both the Installer in Visual Basic and the enhanced one from Microsoft Visual Studio on downloaded produce difficult downloads for users to install.  After file download the file must be extracted to temp directory, this directory located in explorer, a setup program found there and run, then target directory found and exe file run or put on desktop.  Isn't there a way for the download to be constructed so it proceeds automatically thru extraction, setup, and puts icon to run on the desktop? Or at least simplifies this complexity.  I hope this is easy, if not let me know

You can do this with the registered version of WinZip. When create a self-extracting archive you can specify an EXE to run after is has been unzipped.

My apology for not answering this one, I thought I had done so. The suggestion was great and I did buy the WINZIP special program, it works fine
