@DocumentUniqueID question

PLease suggest any solution:
I have creaed a mailed form which have a computed field @DocumentUniqueID.
so the reciepient can go to that docunent by just cliick this ID. But what I want is that to direct the user to the view instead,
what should I do?

I am unsure exactly what you are asking but I think you are asking how do you get a user to open a view by clicking on a button...

To do this you could create a button on the form that has the following formula.

@Command([FileOpenDatabase]; @DBName; "ViewName")

Where ViewName is the name of the view you want to open...

Yes,but I think you are asking how do you get a user to  go to the row in the view  by clicking on a button. how to do it?

I think I know what you are asking now ...

To goto the document in a view , you could modify a view to sort the documents by the @Text(@DocumentUniqueID) then use the above command with a KEY specified..  ( make the sorted column hidden )

@Command([FileOpenDatabase]; @DBName; "ViewName";@Text(@DocumentUniqueID))

This would mean that the use would be sent to the view and be looking at the document you specified....

You could also do this using the Select document method of the NotesUIView Class , but this is only available in 4.6 + and would be more complicated....
