TAPI via Visual Basic 6.0

I am developing a application based on TAPI (telephony application programming interface) using VB6.0. How can I make used of tapi.dll or tapi32.dll or tapi16.dll instead of using tapilline.ocx? thanks.

Needed ASAP...

What you have to use is the TAPI32.DLL
but to do so, you need to use amodule with all needed Declare statements for the different TAPI functions.

There are some on the Internet, but most of them need to be updated as they generally support only TAPI v2.0

TAPI 2.0 will be sufficient for Modem control, but if you need TAPI to pilot ACD phone sets, then you need TAPI 2.1

Aunsan, any news here?
microsoft has a new active x control that exposes all of the TAPI api's as regular active x control commands ...
this can be done fairly simply... it actually comes installed with windows 2000 and i believe they have a service pack for this for NT
Be carefull, because the TAPI ActiveX is for TAPI 3.0 and not for TAPI 2.1
And i've seen a comment from Microsoft that they will not support TAPI 3 on NT 4/5 or event Windows 98.
