What is active perl?  That site doesn't say anything about windows 2000.

ActiveState are the distributers of Perl for the Win32 platform.  The distribution is the same for Windows 95, 98 and  NT.  It does not say that it works on Windows 2000 but it does as Windows 2000 tends to allow most Windows NT applications to function.  I am currently using this distribution on my Windows 2000 workstation.

This is the only available download for you that will work on Windows 2000 just don't download the bit that says for Windows 95 only you need ...

Hope that helps

ActivePerl also ships on the Windows 2000 Resource Kit Pro CD.

I think they ship Build 522.
