hsp56 modem

modem has been configured for a country other than my own. United Kingdom does not appear in the listings. How to I correct this ?

Most modems are pretty much standardized now. Choose another country that has similar standards as the UK. Even USA should work. If not, try some of the european countries. In the end a 56K modem is more dependent on the qulality of the telephone line, than anything else.
You will normally get 36k to 48 K connections. above that requires a super clean phone line.  I Hope this helps.

you have the driver i guess well what u need to do is copy the driver to you hard drive and then find a file called  
pt county   and edit this file in it you will find the uk=0 script change thie to uk=1 and then install your modem from your hard drive hope u can do this ok this will allow u to select the uk
