Making Appleworks tutorial- need advice

I want to provide my students with handouts detailing step-by-step instructions when using various Appleworks applications.

How can I grab screenshots including drop-down menus and cursors? Ideally, I would like to save the screenshots to one folder, for later insertion into a word processing document. Or, if that's too involved, I would like to know how to capture the same type of screenshots, and then immediately paste them into the document one by one as I go along.

It's important that the screenshots contain the menus and the cursors so my students can easily see what they need to do. As I only have each class for an hour per week, I want to speed up the learning curve with the use of these graphics and less verbal and/or written instructions.

Any pointers to inexpensive (i.e., free) software that will do this for me would be welcome. I will be using a PowerMac 5400/200 with OS 8.

Thanks.

Use Snapz Pro 2 from http://www.AmbrosIaSW.com/Products/SnapzPro.html ....It will capture menus, cursors, save in all sorts of formats to any location. Its pretty self explanatory so i wont post a long drawn out answer. Have a look at the page above.
