combobox and change event

I have many items in a list of combobox. When I change that item to textline my Change event of combobox don't occur. Is this right? It only occurs when try to change that actual text of item (or write something to empty text line). Is there any event which occurs when I change that item of list?

try the click event of the combo box. this event is triggered when u pull down the combo box and choose an item.
this is the soln i could think of after understanding your q. if this does not satisfy you, please explain the q clearly.
