Hi
I'm using delphi5, i'm working on a report which shows customers outstandings. I'm using table not query.
In the report i'm using page header, detail and summary.
My question is after each customer how to sum the amounts and start a newpage for the next one and in the end give me a sum for all amounts
thank you in advance and waiting for your reply

you need to add a tqrgroupbands. start by adding a tqrgroupband and a tqrband
set the footer property of the tqrgroupband to that of your tqrband.
now set the expression property of your
tqrgroup band to your amount field.
in your qrband (now the footer of the group) add a qrexpression field, set the expression function to sum(amount field), set resetafterprint property to true.
also set the forcenewpageproperty of your tqrgroup band to true..

that should give you the start you need you can add more groups /footers as you require.
Rob.
