Setting up an Intranet

Anybody got some tips on the basic building blocks for setting up an intranet?  Assuming NT network is fully in place with browsers etc. what software apps are going to be needed for easy level entry stuff??

First, you have to make sure that TCP/IP protocol is running on your network.
You can install the Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS) from backoffice package.
Then upgrade it with frontpage server extention so your website can browse ASP pages.
