Discussion Forum Results

I have created a discussion forum. Is there a way to control the format of the results when someone posts to the forum. I need for the font to display as Arial 10pt and need to reduce the size of the COMMENT header and SUBJECT header in the results.

You can view a sample at http://www.salonvogue.com/_disc1/00000003.htm to see the results I am talking about.

It looks like frontpage is inserting a page into your htm file.  Try opening this page with your editor and right-click on the page, and choose properties to format the font to your liking.

I use cgi scripts to acheave this, so I'm afraid I'm not of much help.

Good Luck!

fibdev,

Thanks for looking. You are correct FP is iserting a page (webot results). The problem is I can not figure out how to have any control over the format of the results. Each posting generates a new .htm page so I need to format the results as it generates the new page. After the fact is not going to help because I would have to edit every new posting.

I am trying to make the results conform to the rest of the "look and feel" of the page it appears on. Thanks again...

Jeff
I'll look into this with Frontpage, but you may have to use a cgi script or asp to achive the results you seek ...
