I have a list of points (x,y) in a sheet of excel and the correspondent scatter graph. Can you tell me how to get the distances between the points.

Point one = (x1, y1)
Point two = (x2, y2)
Result is R2

Distance is :
R2  = (x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2

So your distance is the result squared.
Distance = R2 ^ 1/2

(Good ole Pythogoras)

Of course this is assuming you work in a orthogonal space (the x and y axis' are at a 90 degrees angle)
