Send File Via FTP

This is my first time trying to write an application which will automatically send an application via FTP.  I am able to dialup and connect with the server and also ping the server, but how do I send a file from the client to the server.  I am making the connection using the tmagras ras components and I am trying to use the ICS ftp components.

Just a comment,
you are aware that delphi ships with an example ftp program and source code in:
\demos\internet\ftp
